On a recent trip to Charlevoix, we had the pleasure of visiting Castle Farms, a beautiful fairy tale setting right in Charlevoix, Michigan. After exploring the grounds (which includes an incredible electric train display, beautiful gardens, 5 wedding venues, and a baseball field - complete with stone dugouts from 1918 - just to name a few highlights!), we visited the tasting room.

1918 Cellars is located in the Queen's Tavern of Castle Farms. The Tavern features a barn wood ceiling built in the 1960s and a herringbone-pattern floor with tiles dating back to the original 1918 construction. Combined with the original stonework, these historical accents create a completely unique experience for wine tasting or a great spot for lunch.

As one of Northern Michigan's premier wedding venues, Castle Farms boasts a beautiful collection of carriages that will transport you to the land of Cinderella. We had the perfect charm for that!
